Megan Payne is an experienced, results-driven paralegal who is a true asset to the Jacko Law Group, PC (“JLG”) team. She has over 10 years of experience in the legal industry, including experience with federal civil court filings in CM/ECS and PACER, extensive legal document preparation and drafting of pleadings. Ms. Payne also holds a certificate in legal technology.
Ms. Payne plays an important role in providing critical support to all JLG clients and attorneys by performing legal research, drafting of contracts and regulatory documents, interfacing with clients and liaising with regulatory bodies related to various filings and initiatives. In addition to Ms. Payne’s role as a paralegal, she assists our Managing Partner with office and human resource management.
Prior to joining JLG, Ms. Payne held the roles of Paralegal, Office Manager and Legal Assistant at a variety of law firms in both Houston, TX and San Diego, CA, including The Matthews Firm, Elder Care Law Firm, and the Bankruptcy Law Center. Throughout her career, she gained extensive experience in various practice areas, which allows her to provide diverse services for JLG clientele. These experiences, combined with her work ethic, drive and ability to build productive working relationships, make her an invaluable resource to the firm.
Outside of work, Ms. Payne has a passion for the great outdoors. She is an avid skier and hiker in her free time.
