Position: Paralegal

Jacko Law Group, PC has a Paralegal position available in its Fashion Valley office. This position will report directly to the Managing Partner and will work closely with our other associates. The paralegal will be responsible for legal analysis, research and transactional work, including regulatory filings, policy and procedure development and assistance with mock regulatory examinations of broker-dealers, investment advisers and hedge funds.

Additionally, the Paralegal will be responsible for:

• Communicating and evaluating regulatory changes to our clients’ business operations;
• Regulatory filings;
• Education/training program for client firms;
• Analysis and identification of potential regulatory issues; and
• Other legal projects, as necessary

Strong work ethic, effective communication and research skills are a must. Experience in the securities industry is required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• California Paralegal Certification (in good standing)
• General knowledge of securities and corporate law
• Experience in the financial services industry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to solving and preventing problems
• Ability to work under pressure/deadlines and manage multiple priorities

Salary: Salary will commence dependent upon salary history and experience.
